The Member Committees are one of the most important communications channels for working together between the industry and AMV, because these bodies make decisions on regulation initiatives and the promotion of best practices with the purpose of promoting the development, integrity and professionalism of the securities and foreign exchange markets..

It is the collegiate body responsible for making recommendations on structuring, managing and updating the questions bank, the design and the methodology for administering and grading the professional suitability exams and other functions assigned to it by the AMV Rules of Procedure.

It supports the adequate fulfillment of the regulatory function of AMV in the currencies market. Its functions include monitoring the regulatory standards of the foreign exchange market within its purview, and reviewing and preparing proposals to update these regulations. Proposing to the Board of Directors amendments to AMV regulations through the CEO; and reviewing and issuing, when it deems it necessary, comments related to regulatory proposals published by government agencies in connection with the foreign exchange market.
