By means of a fair and effective procedure, AMV enforces disciplinary action in cases of incidents of non-compliance with market rules. The penalties imposed to this effect include warnings, suspensions, fines and exclusions.
These penalties may be imposed by means of an Early Termination Agreement (ATA, for the Spanish original), or by a resolution issued by the Disciplinary Commission, an autonomous and independent body comprising the Decision Chamber (which decides on cases in first instance) and the Review Chamber (which decides on appeals)
AMV publishes the information on penalties pursuant to the provisions of article 126.96.36.199.5 of Decree 2555/2010. The terms for disclosing the identity of the disciplined parties are subject to the rules established in Article 95 of our Rules of Procedure, depending on the type of penalty imposed in each case.
